Carsten, you’ve captured the blue that most of us are feeling at this time of the year. I like your photo, it sets the mood well. Was this taken in the morning or this is sort of a grayish day.

  2. Carsten says:

    Thanks Nye.
This was taken in the middle of the gray day. About an hour after noon.

  3. Miekmiek says:

    such tranquility

  4. Carsten says:

    Thanks Miekmiek.

  5. kanniduba says:

Wow…look how calm that water is! It’s like glass!

  6. Carsten says:

Thanks kanniduba. Yes that was calm, but later today we can expect – I’ll quote the weather forecast:
“and several places a transition up to gale with gusts of strong storm or hurricane”

  7. Gerry says:

Carsten, that kind of November is familiar to me as well. Both its beauty and its terrors. That’s a fine image.

  8. Carsten says:

Thanks for your visit Gerry. You’re always welcome ;)

  9. JenniferA says:

Oh my goodness, I am chilly just looking at this. Very evocative.

  10. Carsten says:

    Thanks Jennifer.
    -And very calming too.

  13. Cindy Dyer says:

nice, dark, moody November, gray-sky shot, Carsten!

  14. Carsten says:

I’m glad for your comment Cindy. Now I saw the color of the sky on my ‘new win 7′. Here the color is wrong. I better adjust my screen.
