Carsten, here it is 9:11 a.m. in Nova Scotia and I’m looking at your 9:30 a.m. shot. I see that the bench and tree are gone, but the view is still quite lovely.

My words are quite like Sybil’s – the bench has been damaged by some forestworkers – and one of the trees in your ‘forest gate’ has gone to the eternal tree-heaven, so sad…
But I still like this place, where we allways are gathering the children from our kindergarten.
And I love your NEW PHOTO, Carsten : a silhouet-like picture where the trees are kind of dark and just like shadows in theese short last days of the year.
The sky is bright and blue – notifying the NEW YEAR will come with longer days and more light…

There is tha possibility that someone found it wrong that the bench was lying on the ground for more than a month – and brought it home. ??
Photos are better than words ….- yes.
But even without the tree and the bench – this is a great place you have just outside your house. It is a great gift to be able to enjoy this place every day!
