How nice to find a message on your blog, and how beautiful it is! Those deer look like royal pets. I have deer that look just like them that move through the drumlins, watching me over their shoulders.
We have had odd weather . . . too much heat followed by winds and rains and more heat . . . all very confusing to the animals, and to me, too. Most of my time has been spent in hiring electricians and well drillers and other experts in a valiant effort to keep my house upright. So far the little cat and I are still here.
All the trees around me are still summer green except waaayyy up at the top, where autumn colors blaze. Blue, blue skies and the ever-changing colors of Grand Traverse Bay are lovely too. I believe I’ll be here for a few months more!
Thanks for your prompt comment Gerry. It’s always exciting to see who writes first.
Here in Denmark, we have had unusually warm weather until September, ending the summer with copious amounts of rain.
Now it is relatively dry but also cool. The leaves are starting to turn red, and unfortunately for the older deer, its coat is starting to look a little worn.
How should I interpret the end of your comment? Are you thinking of leaving The Writing Studio?
How nice to send a comment and get an answer in return! Just like the old days.
I am definitely thinking of spending the winter in a less challenging situation. It has come to my attention that I am not getting any younger. Nor are my friends.
Also, WordPress is not making my life any easier. It seems to want me to go away. I suspect that it wants my domain name. My feelings are hurt. Ah well.
I hope that you’ll keep reporting from Denmark or anywhere else you venture in this big, big world.
