Mit første præmierede billede. Og første gang jeg indleverede til Region Nords konkurrence! Det blev til en fjerdeplads. -Næsten godt nok. 😉
My first picture to win a prize. -And the first time I sent images to a competition. It came out 4th. -Nearly good enough 😉
Congratulations!!! Fantastic image! What a way to convey the feeling…very creative. I’ll have to think of when I could use this technique. I’ve seen it used before but I think you have done a splendid job!
Thanks for commenting Tracy.
There are at least two ways to do something like this. Double exposure – or adding layers as you would in this digital age. Or – as I did here: Long time exposure with the camera on a tripod or other solid ground.
Fantastic mood in this picture ! I like the way you played with light and shadows. Wonderful. Congratulations, Carsten!
Thank you Isa.
…And it’s Italian. Sct. Michele, the Cemetery of Venice. We stayed in the monastery for a week.
I’m very glad – congratulations, Carsten. I don’t know why, but this image makes me think of backstage at a jazz club.
Thanks for your kind words Gerry. You always makes me think when I read your comments. I can see the smoke in the small dark room somewhere in the jazz club. The musicians unfocused in the intermission. 😉
Congrats, Carsten! I remember this photo and liked it as soon as I saw it.
Thanks Scott. Yes of course you remember it. I presented it as my pseudo contribution to your challenge a year ago.
Congrats! – you really caught a great mood; however it might be blues 🙂
Thank you very much Hanne.
I was in great mood when I took it, AND when I was told it came in on a good placing.
I hope you are well.
Congratulations!
🙂
I’ll show the rest of my prizes from that lucky tuesday.
So these are real people, not ghosts. This is a remarkable image. It made me take time to examine it closely and then ponder its various meanings. Congratulations on your prize!
Thanks.
You never know Karen, do you?
I saw something in this photo as soon as I shot it, but the conversion to B&W made the job. That way the ghosts were brought about.
Any way, this is the right place to expect spirits, isn’t it?
Congrats Carsten! I love the photo, the image looks like a ghost story or something along the line.
Thanks Nye. I’m glad you like the photo.
