In a little by-street in Rome there is a leather shop. The owner transforms the leather into bags, wallets, belts and you name it. All in the best quality and with beautiful colors.
A man who is proud of his work. He is worth a visit.

I would love to visit such a leather workshop. “Maroquinier” in French. I love the smell of leather as it being transformed in a beautiful art piece.
It was like going 50 years back in time. I remember the shoemakers workshop from my childhood.
“Maroquinier”, does the name have anything to do woth the country “Morocco”? My knowledge of French is close to zero!
You have captured his extreme concentration in his work. I even like it being in B&W. 🙂
Thank you Scott. I felt that the colors didn’t add to the picture. In fact, they stole some of the ‘mood’.
