We have had snow since November. Usually the winter starts for real around the 1st of February in our region.
I think the winter has been here long enough. Let’s have spring soon 🙂
BTW, in the winter time the trees present themselves in a way that MUST be photographed. (Click)
You don’t need me to tell you what a fine image this is, but I’m glad to be able to do it anyway!
Maybe not. But I’m glad you are here!
So pretty, with the fog.
Thanks Michaela. It was only for a short time. Now it is frost again.
This is such a lovely contrast between the dark tree trunks, the misty look of the forest, those small trees or bushes with rusty leaves… I like the branch that crosses the landscape as if meaning : Enough of Winter ! Let´s have Spring 😉 A great image, Carsten.
I agree, let’s have spring soon! Thanks for your comment Isabelle.
Oh, this image is print worthy. I am still looking to take a good forest photo and you keep posting them. I need to come over there, I guess. 🙂
I appreciate your comments Scott.
As far as I know, you have lots of forests ‘over there’, but if there are chances that our forests are better, you shall be welcome here 🙂 Just let me know.
The big trees and little trees look so interesting. Winter is so gray, I’m ready for Spring also. 🙂
The large trees were planted in 1910. So soon they will be 100 springs old – and still reproducing 🙂
LOVE this image! The foggy background, the dark, vertical trunks and that line of subtle color along the bottom – beautiful! 🙂
I’m in total agreement! Spring cannot come soon enough!
THANKS Tracy. Fog has a kind of magic that is easily caught with a camera. If you try, you will see that there can be more fog on the photo than your eyes see in ‘real’.
I love this foggy photo, it’s so beautiful!
Thank you Kerstin.
I wonder how your weather is. When the wind comes from your direction it gets very cold here.

Tak skal du ha’. Træerne er vel lidt mindre i Grønland?
