This year has been good in terms of fall colors.
Until now we have only had a touch of frost so the leaves have had time to slowly change their colors.
Thanks to you Michaela and Kala. The colors were very intense in the fading afternoon sunlight. The photo doesn’t pay justice to the color palette presented by the nature.
This photo has an amazing impact! Those colours are amazing. I love the composition, with all the vertical but bent tree trunks, and the way the track takes you two ways!
Inviting and enchanting ! Such warm and brilliant colours have disappeared from our woods after a few days of rain, wind and frost. This is beautiful, Carsten.
As the weather and the forest is tonight, it is not inviting. A little more wind and it is storm. This must be the end of colored leaves for this year.
But in (only) 5½ months I can invite you to the most beautiful light green beeches.
Thanks Isabelle.
Absolutely beautiful!
Beautifully composed photo.

I am dangerously close to committing poetry. That autumn glow is deeply satisfying.
Close to is too far.
Sorry I didn’t drive you over the edge.
I love the warm autumn colors, you must have visited this wood often. 🙂
The forest is my backyard. So it is in my view whenever i look South.
I’m glad you live such a wonderful place! This is an excellent capture of the beautiful fall colors 🙂
We have never regretted that we moved here. Thanks Truels.
Wow…you had much better color than I had this year. I remember this view of yours. Very peaceful to see each day I’d imagine.
Even if you do not think so, the forest looks different each day. This year we had the most intense colors.
I never get to see these colors here in Texas. Absolutely beautiful.
Then we have to show you some more autumn colors Michael. Perhaps you could show some sunshine later in the wintertime.

Thank you Kai. I was lucky. Most of the leaves was blown away the following week.
This photo is absolutely gorgeous! I love the lush yellow hues and how the picture just embodies the feeling of autumn.
Hmmm….looks like you came to a fork in the road. Which way did you go? 😉
I’m glad you like it Elizabeth. Normally I’d go right here. My house is less than 100 m away. Just over the top of the hill.
Hvilket billed er det du mener ? jeg beklager hvis du ikke ville have det der. men jeg vidste ikke at det var dit, jeg fant det bare på google.
