Happy Thanksgiving to all of you celebrating this today.
Here in Denmark we don’t have this tradition. Today was ‘Just another thursday’.
As you can see November isn’t just gray and dark. This is from a path to the lake you saw earlier this month.

Tillykke | November II
November I
Scott Thomas called us for the last time this year – perhaps.
This time the assignment theme is: “November“. Read his short instructions and participate.
Scott has an extraordinary sunset with magnificent colors. That is not my kind of November. I think of  November as one of – perhaps the darkest months of the year.
Late sunrise, early sunset.
Most days are gray and rainy. At least this year.
The storms effectively rips off the last colored leaves and lets the trees stand naked until spring.
But, even the wind has to rest. Then it’s good to take a walk in the woods and to the lake.
I like when nature is in this mood.
The wind hasn’t needed a rest yet. Until then we’ll have to settle with this image from ’08.

Earlier this year Bundesrepublik Deutchland could celebrate its 60 years aniversary.
Today we can all celebrate the break of the iron curtain 20 years ago. A wall between two worlds – and one people. The wall is gone. Only few remaining elements are left. This one in the Potsdamer Platz area.
There have been no wars between nations for some time. Let’s hope that all the wars between ideologies will decrease soon. …Although it seems af they are increasing in number and intensity.
Back to celebrations. Its A’s birthday today. Congratulations.
My hope for a good day and a bright future.

Fred and Ginger
Not all the buildings in Prague are old and traditional. This one is called Fred and Ginger – or The Dancing House.
Here is a reprise from 2008. This is by far the most visited image on my blog. I’m always happy with the comments I get. In this case I’d like to know why this image has more visits than all the others together. Some of you know – please let me too.
